Can I smoke in the venue?


We do not allow smoking in the venue, but e-cigarettes and vapes are permissible. You are more than welcome to smoke in a designated area outside of the venue lobby.




Do you serve alcohol?


Yes we do! We have a full bar with a vast selection of beers (on-tap and in cans), wine, champagne and spirits. Also plenty of water, juices and soft drinks.




Do you serve food or snacks?


We don’t prepare food on the premises. We only serve a variety of snacks.




Where is The Ave located?


We thought you’d never ask! Our address is 520 N Christopher Columbus Blvd
Philadelphia, PA 19123. We’re conveniently located at the corner of Spring Garden Ave and Columbus BLVD.




How do I purchase tickets to a show?


Purchasing tickets can be done in two ways. One, browse our website for the show(s) you’d like to attend and click the “BUY TICKETS” button. You’ll be transported to our Eventbrite page where you can purchase tickets using your debit card, credit card, or PayPal account. Upon successful completion of checkout, you should receive an eTicket in your email that you can print out or have scanned on your mobile device during admitance into venue. Lastly, you also have the freedom of purchasing tickets at our Box Office with from 12pm-6pm on show days. We accept both cash and credit (no fees for cash purchases). If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show.




What happens if I lose my ticket?


Please report any lost or stolen tickets to The Ave Box Office as soon as you are aware they are missing or destroyed. If a ticket needs to be reprinted for an event, guests can visit the box office and have their ticket reprinted.




What happens if a show is cancelled?


In the case a show at The Ave is canceled, full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders from their original point of purchase. If you purchased tickets at our Box Office, please come to the venue at 520 N Columbus BLVD with your ticket stub and you’ll receive a full refund. If you purchased eTickets from Eventbrite, your refund will be automatically returned to the card you used during check out.




How do I receive my tickets from Will-Call?


Will-Call tickets are always available for pickup the day of the show at our Box Office located at the venue. We ask that you have a valid photo ID matching the purchaser’s name to pick up tickets. Any name changes need to go through The Ave Box Office by emailing our Box Office Manager (boxoffice@theavelive.com).




I forgot something in my car, can I leave and re-enter the venue?


Sorry, but we have a strict no re-entry policy at The Ave. We kindly ask you to make sure you have everything you will need to enjoy the event. If you do leave at any point in the evening; you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.




Do you offer VIP seating?


But of course! We have two VIP sections with your very own waitress staff and awesome views of your favorite artist rocking the stage. These tickets go very fast, so it is first come first served. Our VIP Tickets differ from show to show, so please make sure to look at the shows Eventbrite Ticket options. Some VIP Tickets include special offerings or artist related merchandise, others include a Meet & Greet with the artist, and some may only include special seating and a private bar. Do you have ADA accommodations?


Every guest at The Ave is treated with utmost professionalism and care. Our general admission area is standing room only, so we suggest trying to arrive before doors open and seek out our Guest Services who will accommodate you. If you have additional questions in advance of your visit, please contact info@theavelive.com to make arrangements prior to the show.




What is the age limit to enter the venue?


Age Restrictions vary from show to show. We would advise you to check the event pages to verify age limits prior to purchasing tickets. All shows with an age limit require a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID card, military ID card, passport, or birth certificate) to enter. Everyone must be at least the minimum age required to enter.




Can I bring a camera?


The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in unless it has been approved my our media team (media@theavelive.com). If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 inch, it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in. Some artists do not permit cameras so please check back for the show you will be attending to ensure that we will be allowing cameras in.




What items are allowed in the venue?


• Average size bags/back packs • Cameras – non-professional only, no detachable lenses (camera policy subject to change depending on the event) • Over The Counter Medication – must be factory sealed • Prescription Medication – the name on the label must match your ID • Cigarettes, Lighters & Electronic Cigarettes – smoking allowed in outside designated areas only




What items are not permitted in the venue?


• Weapons of Any Kind • Outside Alcohol • Illegal Drugs/Substances • Glass Containers • Cans • Coolers • Large or oversized bags/back packs, such as luggage, duffel bags, or industrial/camping-sized back packs • Flow toys • Laser pointers • Animals (except service animals - must be approved 24 hours in advance by our management - please email timmy@theavelive.com) • Fireworks • Selfie Sticks • Signs larger than 8.5×11 inches • Professional Cameras • Wallet Chains




What happens if a show is rescheduled?


In the case a show is resceduled, all tickets purchased for that event will be honored. If you are unable to attend a rescheduled show, full refunds will be issued from your original point of purchase. If you purchased tickets at our Box Office, please head to the venue at 520 N Columbus BLVD with your ticket stub and you’ll receive a full refund. If you purchased eTickets from Eventbrite, your refund will be automatically returned to the card you used during check out.
